You can't escape her - from walking in the most prestigious runway shows to modeling for the most sought after campaigns, Kaia Gerber is a force to reckon with. She has already proven to be just as unstoppable as her mother, Cindy Crawford, but it has been exciting to watch her grow into her own as well. Being the same age as Kaia, it is inspiring to look up to someone you can relate to. Kaia is only eighteen years old, yet she has such an elegance and class about her, which can be hard to find in many who grew up in the public eye. If you're a follower of Kaia like I am, you have probably noticed that she has been sporting a simple yet chic look this season. Ever wanted to emulate Kaia's style? Look no further - you probably have some of these pieces already hanging in your closet.
All you need is an oversized blazer or leather jacket (click here for a blazer and here for a leather jacket that I adore from Urban Outfitters), a basic top, your favorite pair of denim, and some cool sneakers. Kaia's pick tends to be her navy Converse high tops, which you can buy here. Accessorize it in any way you please, from a baseball cap to a pair of statement sunnies.
Kaia even uses a blazer to dress up in! I used to think blazers were reserved for adults who worked in an office or with serious company. I love that Kaia proves that young adults can totally rock the look as well. Trust me, I have been implementing blazers in my daily looks ever since.
Kaia's recent uniform is the perfect outfit for any day out. Whether you're running errands or meeting friends for coffee, this look will make sure you appear effortless yet put together. I have definitely taken inspiration from this signature look - today, I wore my new vintage blazer with a fitted white top, black biker shorts, and black high top Converse. (Sadly, I wasn't able to capture an #OOTDae... if you don't know what that is, check out my Instagram, @tyrahdae... Yes, shameless plug. Who can blame me?) My outfit was so comfy, but I still looked nice and even professional. I call that a win-win.
In what ways would you make Kaia's go-to 'fit your own? If it isn't your jam, what's your favorite look to sport? I'd love to hear from you, while getting some new outfit inspiration!
